First human tests begin for promising new eczema treatment

NCT ID NCT06686797

Summary

This is an early safety study testing a new oral medicine called PF-08049820, which is being developed to treat moderate to severe eczema (atopic dermatitis). The study involves 71 healthy adult volunteers and will check for side effects, see how the body processes the medicine, and determine if food affects its absorption. This is the first step in human testing before the medicine can be studied in people who actually have eczema.
