Summary

This study aimed to understand if different methods of checking blood oxygen levels give the same results for patients on a life-support machine called ECMO. Researchers compared measurements taken from three different places in the body of 48 patients with severe heart failure. The goal was to find the most reliable way to monitor these critically ill patients.
