Summary

This study tests whether a daily checklist can help doctors safely remove ECMO (a heart-lung machine) earlier in adults with severe breathing failure. About 225 participants will be randomly assigned to either the daily checklist or usual care. The goal is to see if the checklist reduces time on ECMO and improves recovery without increasing risks.
