New AI-Powered ECG could spot hidden heart disease without scans

NCT ID NCT07375810

First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study will check if a computer program called ECGio can accurately find significant blockages in heart arteries using only an ECG (electrocardiogram). Researchers will compare ECGio's results with standard imaging tests like angiograms and CT scans in nearly 1,000 adults suspected of having coronary artery disease. If successful, this could offer a faster, cheaper, and non-invasive way to screen for heart disease.
