First seen Dec 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looks at whether having non-medical teams (like firefighters or paramedics) perform an ECG before the hospital can help heart attack patients get treated faster. Researchers will compare arrival times at the hospital between patients whose ECG was done by a medical team versus a non-medical team. The study involves 350 adults who called emergency services for a heart attack in France between 2023 and 2024.
