First seen May 20, 2026 ยท Last updated May 20, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether eccentric training (a type of muscle-lengthening exercise) done in low-oxygen conditions or with creatine supplements can improve blood sugar control, muscle strength, and fitness in adults with type 1 diabetes. Twenty-eight participants completed the program. The researchers measured HbA1c, time in target blood sugar range, and maximum oxygen use. The goal was to find better exercise strategies for managing diabetes.
