First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This early-stage study is testing two experimental vaccines (V350A and V350B) designed to prevent diseases caused by the Epstein-Barr virus, such as mononucleosis and certain cancers. About 250 healthy adults and teens will receive either the vaccine or a placebo to check for side effects and measure immune response. The goal is to see if the vaccines are safe and trigger the body's defenses against EBV.
