First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether ebastine, an allergy medication, works better than mebeverine, a common IBS drug, for reducing belly pain and improving overall symptoms. About 200 adults with non-constipated IBS will take one of the two drugs for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if ebastine offers superior relief and a better quality of life.
