Can an 8-Hour eating window help cancer survivors fight future health risks?

NCT ID NCT05826184

Summary

This study explored whether a time-restricted eating plan, where all food is consumed within an 8-hour window each day, could help young adults who survived childhood cancer manage their weight and reduce future health risks. Researchers tested the plan with and without a fiber supplement in a small group of 13 participants to see if it was safe and practical. The goal was to find a simple dietary strategy to improve long-term health for survivors, who face high risks of severe chronic conditions like heart disease and diabetes later in life.
