Hidden danger: new study aims to catch eating disorders in pregnant women
NCT ID NCT05885971
First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at how to better detect eating disorders in pregnant women. Current screening tools may confuse normal pregnancy-related eating concerns with actual eating disorders. Researchers will compare answers from 50 pregnant women with and without eating disorders to find which questions best tell the difference. The goal is to create a more accurate screening tool for this population.
