New support program aims to ease trauma and symptoms for leukemia patients

Summary

This study tests a program called EASE that combines psychological support with regular symptom checks and early access to palliative care. It is for people recently diagnosed with acute leukemia. Half of the 266 participants will get usual care, and half will get usual care plus EASE. The goal is to see if EASE reduces traumatic stress and physical symptom burden.
