First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing a precise, high-dose radiation treatment called SBRT as an alternative to surgery for breast cancer in elderly patients (over 70) or those with other health issues. The goal is to find the safest highest dose that can destroy the tumor without major side effects. About 36 participants who cannot have surgery or choose not to will receive up to 5 radiation sessions and be monitored for up to 2 years.
