First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 03, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested a new device (everlinQ System) to create a connection between an artery and vein in the arm for dialysis in 32 adults with kidney failure. The goal was to see if the connection matured properly and was safe to use for dialysis. The approach is a less invasive way to create dialysis access, which is needed for ongoing kidney disease management.
