First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a 12-week health program could help older adults (65+) living in temporary container homes after the February 2023 earthquakes in Turkey. 60 people took part; half received personalized exercise, nutrition advice, and medication training, while the other half received no extra help. The goal was to see if the program could improve balance, physical activity, and overall health in this vulnerable group.
