This study looked at 140 men with prostate cancer who were about to have surgery or radiation. It compared starting a patient empowerment program before treatment versus after. The program included daily texts and emails with tips on exercise, diet, and mental health, plus a support group. The goal was to see if early help reduces distress and improves quality of life.
