NCT ID NCT07409038

First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding extra nutrients (fortification) to breast milk early helps premature babies (born at 28-31 weeks) gain weight and handle feedings better compared to waiting longer to add nutrients. About 96 infants will be randomly assigned to early or delayed fortification. The goal is to improve growth and reduce feeding problems.
