Shower sooner? study tests if early bathing after bone surgery is safe and satisfying

Summary

This study looks at whether showering soon after orthopedic fracture surgery is better than waiting. About 56 adults with arm or leg fractures will be randomly assigned to bathe early or follow the usual delayed approach. The main goal is to see which group is more satisfied, and the study also tracks infection rates.
