Blood test could predict diabetes years before symptoms
NCT ID NCT07118098
Summary
This study aims to identify people at high risk of developing Type 1 Diabetes before symptoms appear. Researchers will test blood samples from 30,000 children and adults across Europe who have a family member or close friend with Type 1 Diabetes. By looking for specific markers called autoantibodies, they hope to detect early signs of the disease and connect at-risk individuals with monitoring programs.
