NCT ID NCT07186712

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study reviewed medical records of 263 severely injured trauma patients to find out how often they develop early blood clotting issues (called trauma-induced coagulopathy) and excessive clot breakdown (hyperfibrinolysis) within the first hour of arriving at the emergency room. The goal was to identify patients at highest risk. The study did not test any new treatment, but rather aimed to better understand these dangerous conditions.
