Major indian study aims to catch stomach cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT07486518
Summary
This study aims to understand how common early stomach cancer and precancerous changes are in India. It will enroll 4,000 adults aged 40+ who are already scheduled for a stomach scope. Researchers will use high-quality scopes and tissue analysis to create a detailed map of these conditions, which is currently lacking in India, to help guide future screening and early detection efforts.
