NCT ID NCT07219901

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at whether teaching speech and language skills to infants with unrepaired cleft palate can boost their communication before palate repair surgery. About 200 babies aged 6 to 10 months will join twice-weekly group sessions for six weeks. Researchers will check if these early techniques help infants make more sounds, learn words faster, and have fewer speech problems when they start school.
