Radar + AI spots scoliosis without X-Rays

NCT ID NCT07593560

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new way to detect scoliosis early using radar and artificial intelligence. Instead of X-rays, children walk in front of a radar sensor that records their movement. The AI analyzes the walking pattern to spot signs of spine curvature. If successful, this could provide a safe, private, and low-cost screening tool for schools and clinics.
