First human test of new arthritis pill begins
NCT ID NCT05858788
Summary
This was a very early, small study to see how the body processes a new oral drug (SAR441566) being developed for rheumatoid arthritis. It tested single, increasing doses in 10 healthy Japanese male volunteers to check for safety and measure drug levels in the blood. The goal was to gather basic information before testing the drug in people who actually have the disease.
