Can walking sooner help blood clot patients recover?
NCT ID NCT05761119
Summary
This study tested if starting a guided physical therapy program early is possible and helpful for patients hospitalized with their first leg blood clot. The program involved early movement and progressive walking exercises during the hospital stay and for one month at home. Researchers wanted to see if patients could complete the program and if they found it valuable for their recovery.
