New scans aim to spot deadly pancreatic cancer early, spare patients surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two new types of scans and blood tests can detect pancreatic cancer early in people with high-risk pancreatic cysts. The goal is to find a better way to spot cancer without needing invasive surgery. Researchers will enroll 25 adults who are already scheduled for surgery to remove their cyst, to see if the new methods can accurately identify cancer before the operation.
