Can an online program stop PTSD before it starts?

Summary
This study is testing whether a short, therapist-supported online therapy program can prevent post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in people who have recently experienced a traumatic event. It will involve 360 people in Norway who are showing early PTSD symptoms about a month after their trauma. Researchers will compare the online program plus usual care to usual care alone to see which is better at reducing symptoms and preventing a full PTSD diagnosis over a year.
