Can early nutrition shape a Preemie's future brain power?
NCT ID NCT02184650
Summary
This study aimed to understand if what very premature babies eat in the hospital affects their brain development later on. Researchers followed 206 infants born very early to see if the amount of mother's milk, specific fats, and iron they received was linked to their learning and development at age 3. The study did not test a treatment but observed these relationships to gather knowledge.
