Summary

This study aims to see if a special coaching program for parents, focused on early literacy and numeracy activities, helps improve infant learning and development scores by age 2. It involves 188 families with healthy, full-term or late preterm babies. Half the parents receive the extra coaching on top of standard reading advice, while the other half only get the standard advice, to compare the outcomes.
