Cameras could catch knee injury before pain starts

NCT ID NCT07406516

Summary

This study aims to find early warning signs of patellar tendinopathy, commonly known as Jumper's Knee, in athletes. Researchers will use special cameras to analyze how 60 male athletes move when they jump and land, comparing those with and without knee issues. The goal is to spot subtle changes in movement that happen before pain becomes a major problem, which could lead to earlier diagnosis and better prevention plans.
