First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study aims to develop a blood test that can detect liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) at an early stage, when treatment is more likely to work. Researchers will analyze tiny genetic molecules in the blood of 600 people already diagnosed with liver cancer to see if they can create a reliable screening tool. If successful, this non-invasive test could lead to earlier diagnosis and better outcomes for patients.
