Could early radiation zap facial pain for good?

Summary
This study is testing if using a precise, non-surgical radiation treatment called Gamma Knife very early for a severe facial pain condition (trigeminal neuralgia) works better than the usual approach of trying medications first. It will involve 80 adults who have had the pain for less than two years. The main goal is to see if early treatment provides longer-lasting pain relief and reduces the need for strong medications with difficult side effects.
