Could feeding toddlers tiny food doses cure their allergies?
NCT ID NCT05738798
Summary
This study is testing if giving very young children (9-30 months old) with food allergies a tiny, daily dose of the food they are allergic to can train their bodies to tolerate it long-term. It compares this one-year treatment to the standard approach of strictly avoiding the food. The main goal is to see if this early treatment is effective and cost-efficient for common allergies like peanut, milk, and egg.
