Tiny trial tests early meals for babies born with intestines outside body
NCT ID NCT06878950
Summary
This small study aims to see if it's possible and safe to start feeding babies with gastroschisis earlier than usual. Gastroschisis is a birth defect where a baby's intestines are outside the body. Researchers will enroll 20 stable, full-term babies to test if parents agree to the study and if the early feeding plan can be followed correctly.
