First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding ezetimibe early to atorvastatin works better than atorvastatin alone for lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol in people at very high risk for heart problems. It involved 137 adults with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The goal was to see if the combination helps more patients reach their cholesterol targets.
