Can starting exercise within a day speed heart surgery recovery?
NCT ID NCT07230561
Summary
This study tested whether a structured exercise program, started within 24 hours after heart bypass surgery, helps patients recover better. Researchers compared 40 patients who did the special exercises to those who received standard hospital care only. They looked at whether the program improved fitness, strength, quality of life, and mood during the first week after surgery.
