NCT ID NCT07230561
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a structured early exercise program helps people recover better after coronary artery bypass surgery. Forty adults who had their first bypass surgery were split into two groups: one did supervised exercises (like walking, cycling, and light strength training) starting within 24 hours after surgery, twice a day for 5 days, while the other received standard care only. The goal was to see if early exercise improves fitness, muscle strength, quality of life, and mood.
