Vitamin e gel may stop Dupuytren's before fingers curl

NCT ID NCT06321991

First seen May 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a vitamin E gel applied to early Dupuytren nodules can shrink them and prevent progression to disabling finger contractures. About 80 adults with stage 0 Dupuytren disease (palmar nodules but no finger bending) will receive either the gel or a placebo for a set period. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive treatment can stop the disease from getting worse and avoid the need for surgery.
