Heart valve patients could go home in just one day
NCT ID NCT05758909
Summary
This study is testing whether it is safe and effective for patients to be discharged from the hospital just 24 hours after a TAVI procedure, a minimally invasive heart valve replacement. It involves 585 adults with aortic valve disease who are having the procedure done through the leg. The main goal is to see if this early discharge leads to more complications like heart attack, stroke, or the need to return to the hospital.
