Summary

This study aims to validate a new blood test that uses artificial intelligence to quickly diagnose a severe blood clotting disorder called DIC in patients with septic shock. DIC is hard to detect early and often leads to death. The test measures a specific blood cell signal and may help doctors start treatment sooner. About 492 adults in intensive care will take part.
