First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 150 breast cancer patients to see if MRI scans could detect early signs of heart damage caused by radiation and certain chemotherapy drugs. The goal was to predict which patients might develop heart problems within a year after treatment. Researchers measured heart swelling and function using MRI and ultrasound to improve early detection.
