Summary
This study aims to create a computer program that can predict delirium in ICU patients by analyzing tiny facial expressions captured on camera. Delirium is a sudden confusion that affects many hospital patients and is often missed by doctors. The researchers will enroll 795 adults in the ICU and use machine learning to build a prediction model that could lead to earlier detection and better care.
