Light-Based treatment trial offers hope for early skin cancer control

NCT ID NCT05680558

Summary

This study is testing whether a light-based blood treatment called photopheresis can help control early-stage cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a type of skin cancer. Researchers want to see if using this treatment earlier in the disease course, rather than just for late stages, can improve skin symptoms and quality of life. The trial will enroll 74 adults with early CTCL who haven't responded well to standard treatments like creams, light therapy, or medications.
