Race against time: new brain surgery aims to save stroke patients

Summary
This trial is testing whether performing a minimally invasive surgery to remove a blood clot from the brain within 8 hours of a severe stroke leads to better recovery than standard medical care. It will involve 240 patients who have suffered a significant brain bleed. The goal is to see if quickly reducing pressure in the brain helps more people regain independence.
