Blood pressure boost after brain bleed: lifesaver or risk?

Summary

This study looks at whether raising blood pressure soon after surgery for a ruptured brain aneurysm can improve recovery in people with subarachnoid hemorrhage. About 750 adults who had aneurysm repair will be randomly assigned to have their blood pressure raised or lowered within 72 hours. Researchers will track their functional outcomes and safety over 6 months.
