Danish study aims to cut Years-Long delay in arthritis diagnosis

NCT ID NCT06337513

Summary

This study aims to better understand and detect a type of inflammatory arthritis (axial spondyloarthritis) in people with persistent lower back pain, where diagnosis is often delayed for years. Researchers will follow 250 participants for two years to learn about the early disease course using advanced scans. Part of the study will also test a new 6-month physiotherapy-led support program to see if it improves pain, function, and quality of life.
