Heart valve surgery timing: early intervention may beat waiting

Summary
This study looks at whether early surgery to fix a leaky aortic valve is better than waiting until symptoms appear in people with severe aortic regurgitation who feel fine. About 217 participants will be randomly assigned to either early surgery or standard watchful waiting. The goal is to see if early surgery helps the heart recover better and prevents serious events like heart failure or stroke.
