Could a simple video speed up wrist fracture recovery?

NCT ID NCT05650996

Summary

This study is testing whether encouraging people to carefully use their hand for daily tasks early on, while their broken wrist is still in a cast, leads to better recovery. Researchers will compare two groups of 64 adults with this type of fracture: one gets extra guidance on hand use, and the other gets standard cast care advice. They will measure pain, hand function, strength, and fear of movement over three months to see which approach works better.
