New test could cut abortion Follow-Up time in half

NCT ID NCT07417787

Summary

This study is testing if a simple, on-the-spot blood test given 2 to 4 days after starting an early abortion can reliably show if the treatment worked, instead of the standard 7-day wait. It aims to make the follow-up process simpler and more convenient for patients. The study will also ask patients and staff if they find this new approach useful and acceptable.
