Can your earlobe predict heart risk from smoking?

NCT ID NCT07427745

Summary

This study looked at whether a diagonal crease in the earlobe (called Frank's sign) is linked to smoking, a major risk for heart disease. Researchers examined 404 adults aged 40-59, comparing smokers and non-smokers. The goal was to see if this simple, non-invasive sign could help doctors quickly identify people who might be at higher risk.
