New gel aims to heal ears better after surgery
NCT ID NCT04783233
Summary
This study aimed to test if a new gel material could help ears heal better after surgery to repair a hole in the eardrum. It planned to compare the new gel against the standard packing material in adults having this type of ear surgery. The goal was to see if the gel reduced inflammation and improved healing, but the trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
